This panel holds 106 curated reference populations of the Pre-Classical Iron Age (1200–0 BC), each entering the ranking as one composed Global25 coordinate row: a population average over its member samples, not an individual. It is the same era panel the paid Global25 Distance report is computed against; the populations listed above are public, read-only reference data.

The score is plain Euclidean distance: for each of the 25 dimensions, take the difference between your value and the population's, square it, sum the 25 squares and take the square root. Every population in the panel is scored that way and the list is sorted, closest first. There is no weighting and nothing fitted, so the same input always gives the same ranking.

The limit to keep in view: a distance ranking cannot reject anything, and 'closest' is always relative to this panel. Being nearest to a Pre-Classical Iron Age (1200–0 BC) population says where you sit among the samples of that window, not that you descend from them. Ancient-era panels run systematically wider, because every living person is far from every ancient average, so compare ancient eras with each other, never with your modern numbers. And if the nearest population on Earth sits past about 0.08, suspect an unscaled or damaged paste before suspecting your ancestry.
