Every paid Ancestrify analysis is a one-time payment with no subscription, from €29.99: Ancient Ancestry (formal qpAdm modelling against the AADR), Ancestry Map (Global25 distances, admixture and PCA) and Ancient Matches against excavated genomes. DNA Traits is free once per account, the Ancestry Workbench runs on a prepaid balance from €9.99 that never expires, and every optional one-time add-on is listed with its price.

Questions

  • Is this a subscription?

    No. Every paid analysis is a single one-time payment, and each report stays in your account afterwards. There is no plan to cancel and nothing renews.

  • Is anything free?

    Yes. DNA Traits, published trait associations from your raw DNA file across every topic, and G25 Admix, a first look at your admixture from your Global25 coordinates, are each free once per account, with no add-on and no card. Their reports stay in your account like any other.

  • Is the Workbench a subscription?

    No. The Ancestry Workbench runs on a prepaid balance: one top-up by card, from €9.99, that never expires and never renews. Each completed run draws its own small price from the balance, and failed runs are never charged. There is no monthly plan to cancel.

  • What does one payment cover?

    One analysis of one person's DNA: the report, its maps and videos, and every later visit to it. Buying a second analysis of the same file is a second one-time payment, and the file itself is reused rather than uploaded again.

  • What are the add-ons?

    Optional extras bought inside the order form, each a one-time price listed in the table above. None of them is required to receive the report you are paying for.

  • Can I get a refund?

    Refunds follow the refund policy linked in the footer, which states exactly when an order can still be refunded and how to ask. Write to us from Messages in your dashboard and we will handle it there.
